Cricket Formats Explained
A clear understanding of cricket's different formats is essential for successful betting. Betting strategy also varies by format.
🏏 T20
20 overs per team. A match usually ends within 3-4 hours. This fast-paced format offers special markets such as over-by-over betting, highest runs, number of sixes and powerplay score. IPL, BPL, BBL and PSL are played in this format.
🏏 ODI (One-Day)
50 overs per team. A match typically lasts 7-8 hours. The ICC World Cup and Champions Trophy are played in this format. Half-time betting and match winner markets are most popular here.
🏏 Test
Matches last up to 5 days. Each team plays two innings. In Test betting, draw markets, runs per innings and wicket markets are especially important. Bangladesh Tigers are a Test-status team.
🏏 The Hundred
A newer format originating in England — 100 balls per team. Ball-by-ball betting and player performance markets are popular in these shorter matches.
Popular Leagues: BPL (Bangladesh Premier League), IPL (Indian Premier League), BBL (Big Bash League), PSL (Pakistan Super League) — tk966 offers a wide range of betting markets for all of these.

Cricket Partnerships
Brand partnerships with cricket teams in Bangladesh's betting industry is a growing trend. It is now a recognised and effective strategy in international sports marketing.
Industry Trend
Various betting platforms active in the Bangladesh market use cricket sponsorships to reach audiences. For example — Babu88 was associated with Montreal Tigers and Colombo Strikers, Crickex has sponsored regional leagues, and Jeetbuzz has used Andre Russell as a brand ambassador.
Why Cricket Sponsorship?
In Bangladesh, cricket is not just a sport — it is a passion. Millions of people sit in front of their televisions during BPL. Cricket sponsorship is a natural choice for reaching this vast audience.
Global Context
ICC events — T20 World Cup, ODI World Cup — reach hundreds of millions of viewers worldwide. Advertising by the betting industry around these events increases significantly.
Bangladesh Cricket & Fans
Every Bangladesh Tigers match creates a festive atmosphere across the country. Historic victories — such as beating India or Pakistan in ICC tournaments — take Bangladesh's cricket passion to a unique level.
Fishing & Arcade Games
Fishing games are one of the most popular categories in online casinos in Bangladesh. On one screen you get ocean fish, cannons, and bullets of varying power — all together making for an exciting experience.
🎣 How It Works
The player controls a cannon and shoots at fish swimming across the screen. Each bullet has a set cost, and rewards vary according to the size of the fish. Taking down a large "boss fish" gives the highest reward.
⚙️ Cannon Levels
A low-power cannon is cost-effective for catching small fish. A high-power cannon is needed for large fish or boss fish — but each shot costs more. Choosing your power level strategically is important.
💡 Cost Management Tips
- Set a maximum budget for each session before you start.
- Save your big shots for the large fish.
- Avoid using high-power cannons on small fish.
- Pay attention when using bonus features or special weapons.
Bankroll Management Guide
The most important aspect of responsible gaming is financial discipline. The guidelines below will help you play in a controlled and enjoyable way.
Set a Budget
Decide in advance how much of your monthly or weekly entertainment budget you can allocate to gaming. This amount should never come from emergency savings or monthly living expenses. Only set aside what you can afford to lose without affecting your lifestyle.
Divide into Sessions
Divide your total bankroll into smaller sessions. For example, if your monthly budget is ৳5,000, set a fixed limit for each day or session. The discipline of not playing the next session after losing everything in one session is important.
The 1–5% Per-Bet Rule
Try to keep each bet amount between 1% and a maximum of 5% of your total session bankroll. Avoid large single bets — consistency is the key to long-term enjoyment.
Know When to Stop
Even after winning, stop once you have reached your set target. Placing more bets to recover losses after a losing run ("chasing losses") is a dangerous habit. When a session is over, stop cleanly.
Track Your Gaming History
Write down or note on your mobile how much you deposited, and how much you won or lost, in each session. This habit will help you understand your own gaming patterns and make better decisions. Your transaction history on your tk966 account is always available to view.
Account Verification Process
The KYC (Know Your Customer) verification process is necessary to ensure security and prove the legitimacy of financial transactions. It keeps your account protected.
National ID Card (NID)
Clear photos of both sides of your NID are required. A passport is also accepted.
Proof of Address
Verify your address with a utility bill, bank statement, or other official document.
Selfie Verification
You will need to upload a clear selfie holding your NID.
Processing Time
Verification is usually completed within 1–24 hours. It may take a little longer during busy periods.
What Happens After Verification?
After successful verification, your account becomes fully active. Withdrawal limits increase, access to the VIP program opens up, and you gain access to special promotional offers.
